We are emerging from the natural hibernation and seclusion of a Canadian winter. It is time to start to awaken ourselves, to shake off the sediment that has collected from being indoors. It’s time to emerge from seclusion and gather again as human beings. Let’s clear the cobwebs, expand our energy and wring out all that is unnecessary and that has collected in our body and being. Come join in this gathering where we will use our bodies & our will to mobilize energy. We’ll reconnect to our inner impulses and express it in physical interaction to transmute the sedentary into an emergence.
What will be doing?
We’ll settle into and move our bodies.
We’ll engage with each other…
Rigorously in wrestling, and…
Harmoniously in contact and exploration.
We’ll have a chance to share what comes up for us within a held group of men. You can expect to learn some grappling skills. There will be some explorative contact in dance & play. All within a safe & held gathering with Ian who has been teaching adults and children how to safely learn and explore grappling, martial arts & movement for more than 30 years. Breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as farmhouse accommodations are included in the retreat rate. All are welcome.
